- Position: Child Caregiver – Private home
- Terms of Employment: Full-time / Permanent
- Location: Toronto, Ontario – Major Intersection: Eglinton Ave. & Brentcliffe Rd.
- Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week
- Language: English
- Salary: $17-$18 / hour
- Children's Ages : Toddler to pre-school (1 – 3 years), Kindergarten age (4 – 5 years), School age (6 – 12 years)
Duties:
- Sitting three children (8 years, 4 years and 2 years old) in employer's own residence;
- Bathe, dress and feed;
- May be required to keep special notes of daily activities and health information regarding the kids;
- Oversee children’s activities as instructed by employer;
- Caring for and maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home;
- Take children to and from school and to appointments;
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents,
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development,
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children,
- Help children with homework
Requirements:
- Previous child caregiving experience is an asset;
- Comfortable being around kids in multiple ages;
- Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills
- Completion of High School required; and
- Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends, if needed.
- Criminal record check, Reference required
- Non-smoking Work site Environment
