POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Light Duty Cleaner will be responsible for all basic cleaning in and around our office. This can entail dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning smudges off windows and doors. Ensuring restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked is another important responsibility.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Clean, disinfect and polish bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Clean and disinfect public areas in the office.
• Disinfect the dental clinic, rooms, and other common areas.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Report and store lost and found items.
• May provide basic information on facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

• Education: Completion of High School, some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical

      training.

• Experience: 1 year of work experience as a light duty cleaner.
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
